Discover incredible fishing at one of Colorado's largest reservoirs, Eleven Mile State Park! Sports writers across the state have written volumes about Eleven Mile's fantastic fishing. Rainbow, brown and cutthroat trout, kokanee salmon, northern pike, small-mouth bass and carp are all found within the waters of this 3,400 surface-acre reservoir. Waterfront camping, scenic vistas, uncrowded boating and ideal wind conditions for sailing and windsurfing make Eleven Mile a best bet for all visitors. The park is open year-round, offering spectacular Rocky Mountain sunsets and plenty of room to breathe.Directions: 38 miles west of Colorado Springs on U.S. 24 to 1 mile west of the town of Lake George, then turn left (south) on County Road 90 and drive for 6 miles to County Road 92. Continue south on 92 for 5 miles to the park.

The Park offers over 350 campsites. North Shore and Rocky ridge have electrical and water hook-ups and are not secluded sites. Fifty two sites have electrical. At Cross Creek (secluded site) there are very well maintained bathrooms and water (no electric). If you are more adventurous you can camp with no water or electrical hook-ups in the back country. You can also get your showers and do laundry the Camper's Service area. These are very well maintained and very clean.
Sites may be reserved for $8 per transaction (in addition to the campground fees) through the Colorado State Reservation Office at 1-800-678-2267 or (303) 470-1144 in the Denver Metro area.
